SSM St. Joseph Health Center is located in St. Charles County, one of the
fastest-growing communities in the U.S., located just west of suburban
St. Louis. The hospital is a health care leader, yet some St. Charles residents maintained the perception that you have to cross the Missouri River into St. Louis to get high-quality medical care.

The Objectives
• Develop an advertising campaign to generate awareness of the sophisticated technologies and high-quality services offered at SSM St. Joseph Health Center.

• Position the Health Center as the leading health care provider in St. Charles County.

• Inspire local residents to make SSM St. Joseph Health Center their preferred health care provider.

The Strategy
• Communicate the Health Center’s advantages in three key service lines: cardiac care, emergency services and cancer care.

• Reach the target audience, primarily women age 35+, through attention-getting graphics and a message focused on positive outcomes.
